Friends, this election more than any in our great states history, will determine what type of Illinois we have in our future. The choice between setting our elderly on a path to destitution with huge budget cuts that will effect their choices in healthcare, or a choice to set their futures on a path of security. A choice between forcing workers to work harder for less, or a choice to support their rights and build our economy so that workers will not have to struggle just to put food on the table. The choice between cutting education, or making our state first on the path toward giving our young people a chance to go to a good school, getting the best education, and granting them access to the opportunity to go to college or a trade school.  These are the difficult choices that must be made to secure a future here in Illinois that make this (in my humble opinion) the best place to live in our great country…
